A new chapter begins as the University of Bath International Study Centre opens

The new International Study Centre at the University of Bath has officially opened its doors, welcoming its first international students, marking an important moment in the partnership between the University and Study Group.

Located on the University of Bath campus, the International Study Centre brings together the university’s global academic reputation with Study Group’s expertise in international education, creating a dedicated environment where international students can prepare for undergraduate and postgraduate study.

Students can access International Foundation Year and Pre-Master’s programmes, alongside Pre-sessional and In-sessional English for Academic Purposes support. The programmes are designed to help students build the academic skills, confidence and knowledge they need to succeed at Bath and beyond.

The University of Bath is ranked among the world’s leading universities, placing 132nd in the QS World University Rankings 2026 and among the top 10 in the UK. It is also recognised for its career-ready education, strong graduate outcomes and outstanding student experience.

The new International Study Centre marks the beginning of a 10-year partnership between the University of Bath and Study Group, supporting the university’s ambitions to welcome a diverse and talented international student community.

The opening brings this new partnership to life, with the shared aim of helping talented students from around the world prepare for, progress to and succeed in their studies at Bath.
